Terms of Service

Wanderyay is a tool for planning family trips: working out when everyone is free, keeping trip details in one place, and splitting costs with the people coming along. The core app is free to use. Wanderyay Plus is an optional paid subscription that adds more.

You must be 18 or over. Give a real email address — it is how you reset your password, and without it a lost password means a lost account. Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

Your trips, notes, expenses and messages are yours. We do not claim ownership and we do not use them to train anything.

When you add someone to a trip you are putting their name and contact details into our system. Please only do that for people who would be fine with it.

Do not use Wanderyay to harass anyone, to store other people's information without their knowledge, or for anything illegal. We may suspend an account being used that way.

The app suggests destinations and can generate a day-by-day plan. These are starting points, not verified travel advice. Opening hours, trail conditions, permit requirements, closures and prices change constantly, and generated plans can be wrong.

Check anything that matters before you rely on it — particularly hikes, road conditions, and anything involving safety. Cost estimates are rough and are not quotes.

The expense tools do arithmetic. They do not move money, are not a payment service, and are not a record of a debt anyone is obliged to honour. What you settle between yourselves is between yourselves.

Wanderyay Plus costs $25 a year (US dollars) plus any sales tax that applies where you live, charged when you subscribe. The total you are charged, tax included, is the one shown on the checkout page.

It renews automatically every year on the date you first subscribed, charged to the card you paid with, until you cancel. Stripe processes the payments; we never see or store your card number.

Cancel any time from Manage Subscription on your Subscription page. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Plus until the end of the year you have already paid for. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately.

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before a renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

This is a small service. It may be slow, briefly unavailable, or change without notice. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — your profile page can export everything at any time.

Delete your account whenever you like, from your profile page. It takes effect immediately and removes your data — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that covers.

Wanderyay is provided as-is, without warranties. We are not liable for losses arising from using it — including trips that go wrong, plans that turn out to be inaccurate, or data that is lost. If you need guarantees about a trip, use a service that sells them.
